Roller Derby

This picture may be hard to see, but we are at the roller derby
tonight. It us quite entertaining. My grandma wanted to be a roller
girl all her life so we brought her tonight. It is a fascinating sport.

We are at Home Depot tonight getting a new faucet because our current
one broke. So I am trying to entertain Ryan. I don't know who is the
bigger kid, him or me.

Courtney and Paul Add a Family Member

Our good friends Courtney and Paul had a baby a few weeks ago so we went to visit them last weekend. Her name is Molly and she is beautiful. Paul has green lit Ryan to date her - but Paul hasn't seen the tantrums he has thrown yet - so we'll see.

Multiple times during our visit, Ryan made Paul get out of the rocking chair so he could sit there. Not only did he kick Dad out of his own chair, he then started to chew on Molly's toys ...


Courtney and Paul came over a couple of weeks before they were due so we snapped some pics then. Here is Molly still in the oven ...

They aren't getting much sleep but they are really good parents.

Baby Nora

We went to see our good friends Wendy and Jim last week to see their new addition Nora. She is beautiful (I don't know why I didn't get a picture of her). Ryan had a good time playing with Fiona.

Doesn't it look like Fiona is going to cry because Ryan took her doll? Needless to say, Fiona wears the pants in this relationship.

Aunt Kerry Visits

Aunt Kerry came to visit not last weekend but the weekend before. It was VERY nice of her to pay her way to come down and visit us. It was good to hang out. She and I went out for drinks both night after Sharis went to bed because she didn't feel well. One of those nights was Halloween and the ENTIRE city was dressed up. We were ridiculed all night for not wearing costumes.

Doesn't it look like Ryan is going to decapitate his enemy (or at least his stuffed animal) with the top to his pail? That's what Ninjas do. They're ruthless.

Halloween Ninja

These pictures are a little late but Ryan was a ninja for Halloween - a ninja who wears Converse shoes. He didn't keep the wrap around his mouth on for very long and he wasn't too keen on the tight wraps around his wrists but otherwise he didn't mind.



These pictures weren't actually taken on Halloween. We were at a streetwide Halloween party the weekend before Halloween. There were contests for kid's costumes and puppy costumes. We didn't make it in time for the kid costume contests but were able to see a ton of puppy costumes - which Ryan loved.
