Heartbeat

We heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time yesterday. It was pretty amazing. It doesn't sound like a normal heartbeat - it is a lot faster. The doctor didn't let us listen very long but we still enjoyed the moment.

First 8 guys get married in the same year, now everyone is having kids together.  We have all been speculating about how much it will cost for these kids to go to Notre Dame.  Make your guess in the comment section.

12 week belly...growing

We were in Maui at the 12 week mark so that is the reason I am shown in my bathing suit. Our hotel was fantastic and they were handing out these amazing cool towels scented with mint. I couldn't get enough (as you can see) and covered my entire face with the minty coolness...refreshing! Dan thought it was hilarious and snapped a pic. You can see the little squirt poking up a bit to get in on the goodness of the experience! Ok, so it's more just my uterus which has moved it's way up above my pelvic bone by now, but a mom can dream right? The little one actually only weighs in at 1/2 an ounce at this point and is only ~2.5 inches long. Crazy that he/she can be so tiny but still look like a little person in there!!
